From. Hunter and the group.

We couldnt have felt more welcome from the minute we arrived. He showed us around, gave us time to get settled in and then sat down with our group to go over some guidelines. His listing was very accurate and portrayed the experience well. If you are looking for an excellent wilderness / off grid experience with a friendly host ready to answer all of your questions and help you have a great stay look no further. Despite us having a large group of 7, Tim never seemed over whelmed and handled everything extremely well. One of our group members got sick in the middle of the night and Tim volunteered to drive her to the hospital and waited until the nurses where done, then gave her a ride back… I don’t know many hotel or hostel owners that would do that. I consider Tim more than just a great host, I also now consider him a friend. His knowledge of the jungle, the places to go and the people to meet are an extremely valuable resource that is open to you during your stay and is absolutely priceless. Make sure you read the description of the property because it’s not a hotel experience, and it isn’t suppose to be. What it is, is an amazing off grid jungle experience. If you want to surround yourself in nature and experience life outside of the city, look no further, this is your kind of place!!!”

From Rho and Vee

Cleanliness = 5/5 – the picture is what you get, Very clean considering that you are living in the jungle. Outhouse and showers are exactly what you’d expect being in an eco friendly environment. Hospitality = 5/5 – Tim was an amazing host. His directions were extremely detailed and helpful. He picked us up in town from the bus station. He also offered to drive us anywhere for a very reasonable fee and offered us many options on sights and attractions. Tim also prepared us breakfast and it was also great sharing dinners together. Highly recommend doing the nature walk with Don Miguel, which was very insightful. Spending an evening listening to Tims stories by camp fire. Provided us with Clean towels and water. Location = 5/5 – 25 minute walk to the main road and then a 10 minute bus ride ( $1.50BZ) into San Ignacio. Also 10 minute bus ride to Xunantunich ruins. This place is in the jungle, with Howler monkeys to greet you in the morning and evenings. Plenty of other wildlife to enjoy. Wifi = Limited BUT this is not the place where you want to be connected to the internet. Enjoy your surroundings BONUS = Hear him play his music, well known in the community, has lots of great friends. Thank you come again? = YES come again!!!

From Megan,

We had a great time here, if you’re looking for something out of the city and right in the jungle this is the spot. It’s surrounded by trees, wildlife, and a great host. Tim was knowledgeable about San Ignacio as well as much of Belize, he gave us tips on where to visit and where not to go in order to make the most of our trip!

From Tereza,

Tim will be your friend! He is a kind company sharing his knowledge and giving you different experience from San Ignacio. If you want to experience jungle and local community, Tim’s place is the one you are looking for. If you need 5* hotel and touristy packed places, you might look elsewhere :-) Enjoy inland Belize! We did 😉

What a wonderful spot, nestled in the jungle, a small quaint spot perfect for the kids to explore and the monkeys are so close they are awesome to see and such an exotic sound! We looked everywhere for a place to stay in the jungle but all were upscale resorts with no kitchens and we just wanted to have the option to cook our own breakfast and lunch if we wanted, and easily get to town for shopping and restaurants. We also went to Rio On Pools which is a wonderful place with thousands of pools on a granite mountain side, make sure you plan at least 3 hours to relax, swim, read or nap~ Rent a car if you plan on doing alot of running around, just makes everything easier Thanks so much Tim and Debbie our vacation is one to remember because of your hospitality and perfect spot

Wow. What an experience!

First off I have to say that Tim was one of the best hosts you could ask for. After walking out to greet us right as we arrived, he let us settle in and gave a quick overview of the area which was very helpful. Also, after learning that we traveled without any set plans, the first thing he did was get out his phone and reach out to some friends in the area where we were able to set up some amazing trips to see the ruins and other areas. Also, be very aware that this place is in the middle of the jungle so if you are looking for a luxurious experience this may not be for you. We were looking for a rugged off the beaten path experience and La Primavera delivered that and more. With howler monkeys and tons of other wildlife right on the 40+ acre property, we were able to experience what the jungle has to offer. Overall, I cannot recommend this place more. If you are looking for a jungle experience and an extremely hospitable and caring host, look no further. I can’t wait to plan my next trip back!
